Training for Nannies

We are committed to setting every candidate up for success. Our in-depth training process includes 20+ hours of resources and modules to build your skill set and help you deliver a better service to the families you support.

Our co-founder Nelly has over 45+ years of childcare experience, with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and Childhood Development. Through our extensive training program, Nelly will guide you on how to provide physical and emotional care to children, better communicate with parents, and create more effective processes within the household.

Growth & Development

Understand how to properly nurture, discipline, and respond with love so that you can guide children to enhance their intellectual skills and know right from wrong.

Stimulation for Kids

Develop a better understanding of how to stimulate young minds through physical movement, educational toys, and activities that spark imagination, curiosity, and expression.

Explore effective ways of communicating with parents and establishing routines, processes, and rules to create a household that prioritizes safety, happiness, and well-being.

Wellness & Nutrition

Nanny Requirements

To join Chelsea Nanny’s network of qualified caregivers, you must meet the following criteria:

A valid social security number and legal authorization to work in the United States

21 years or older with proficiency in the English language

3+ years of childcare experience, which may include life experience such as motherhood

Minimum of three references and a letter of recommendation

100% verified background check

Be able to commit to a family for a minimum of one year

Certified in CPR and First Aid

A passport, valid driver’s license, formal education, and additional languages could improve your chances of a match, enhance the quality of your profile, and increase salary expectations.
